Pay Range: $16.50 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (7am-3:30pm)
Position Summary Description:
Keeps premises of warehouses and office buildings in a clean and orderly audit ready condition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Brings sanitation related concerns to the attention of the Sanitation Lead.
- Cleans lighting fixtures, work surfaces, racking, restrooms, offices, breakrooms, entry ways, and exterior of warehouse facilities and office buildings.
- Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and/or polishes floor surfaces.
- Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Dusts furniture and equipment. Polishes metalwork.
- Washes walls, ceilings, windows, door panels, sills, kick plates, and woodwork.
- Empties trash receptacles and transports trash and waste to exterior dumpsters.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Communicates to Quality Assurance Supervisor, any facility damages or equipment malfunctions that cannot be easily corrected on the spot.
- Maintains Sanitation documentation and areas in an audit ready condition.
- Performs similar and related duties as assigned by Quality Assurance Supervisor.
- Uses the Company’s Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.
Qualifications:
Education/Training and Experience
Six months to one year experience in general maintenance and/or janitorial work.
Physical Demands:
Frequently required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
