What You'll Do
- Coordinate with various departments, levels of management, and/or visitors for lab tours, information, planning, updates, etc.
- Work out supply orders and/or product shipments with appropriate support personnel
- Assist in project computer file generation and maintenance, such as Work Control Package, Technical Procedures, and Job Performance Aids
- Coordinate on Work Requests for project based on emergent needs
- Manage project records with appropriate support personnel
- Use of computer applications/systems to record and manipulate data, access technical and information resources, and create correspondence as necessary.
- Perform project lab work based on staffing level such as:
- Operating equipment in hoods and gloveboxes, hazardous materials handling.
- Operation of chemical pilot plants, bench and small scale process equipment.
- Practicing chemical laboratory safety and operation.
