This position is responsible for identifying and securing safe, affordable housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining landlord relationships, identifying rental opportunities, coordinating housing placements, and conducting inspections in accordance with applicable Housing Quality Standards (HQS) and National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE) requirements. The position ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including HUD guidelines and rental housing requirements. The incumbent must demonstrate knowledge of local housing markets, landlord-tenant rights, and barriers to housing, as well as strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. This is a unique, dual-role position that combines housing coordination and property inspections.
