We are seeking a skilled Appliance Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of appliances for our customers. The Appliance Installer will ensure that appliances are correctly installed according to specifications and safety standards, providing a seamless experience for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install a wide range of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and more in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to ensure proper installation procedures
- Conduct appliance repairs and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues as needed
- Assemble appliances and related equipment accurately and efficiently
- Utilize refrigeration, HVAC, or electrical experience to address complex installation or repair challenges
- Operate box trucks safely for delivery and installation purposes
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used during each job
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining appliance features and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards during all installation activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair, service technician roles, or field service positions
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- Electrical experience and familiarity with refrigeration or HVAC systems preferred
- Delivery driver experience with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience with assembly, equipment repair, or electrical systems is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently in various environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift heavy appliances and work in confined spaces as required
- Reliable transportation such as a box truck or similar vehicle for job site travel
