We are an Asset Based 3PL Brokerage & Transportation Consultant specializing in Full Truckload and Less-Than Truckload shipping and logistics consulting. We are located in Maribel, WI.
Our mission is to provide our customers with the best 3PL shipping experience possible. As a National Account Manager for Xtreme Logistics, you will be the sole contact for both carriers, and clients (shippers), delivering timely responses while quoting pricing, and managing their freight needs.
We are looking for driven, competitive individuals to join our team, who are focused on achieving sales goals, and generating leads each month.
Job Description
As a National Account Manager, you are the sole contact for both clients (shippers) and carriers. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
New Business Development
- Prospect and generate leads from cold calling
- Contact current and potential customers for new business opportunities
- Pay attention to and handle different objections you receive from prospects
Select, Vet, and Execute Carrier Relationships
- Identify and contact qualified carriers for freight services
- Negotiate contract and pricing agreements with carriers
- Maintain strong relationships with multiple carriers
- Ensure that freight paperwork is completed and approved before transport
Account Management and Preservation
- Manage multiple deliveries, process spot requests and develop new sales
- Respond to customer concerns and queries professionally
- Track and report shipment status to customers
- Maintain positive and productive relationships with customers
