We are looking for a Low Voltage Installer and Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with low voltage systems such as security, audio/video, data cabling, fire alarm, and access control systems in both Residential and Commercial Installations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing these systems as well as providing customer service and technical support. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their career in the low voltage industry.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems such as Voice/Data, A/V, Security Systems, Fire Alarms, and Access Control systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Test and troubleshoot low voltage systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on low voltage systems.
- Calibrate and adjust low voltage systems.
- Follow safety protocols when working with electrical equipment.
Qualifications
- Installer Position - Requires 2-5 years experience
- Technician Position - Requires 5 years, PLT License
- Proficient in low voltage installation and maintenance, including CCTV and fire alarm systems.
- Strong experience with cabling and schematics, along with electrical knowledge.
- Familiarity with security systems and service technician roles.
- Additional skills in computer networking, mechanical knowledge, and system design are advantageous.
- Experience in alarm system sales, construction, and telecommunication is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
