Qualifications
· Demonstrated expertise as a CNC Machinist, specializing in both Lathe and Mill operations.
· Proficient in G-code, capable of creating and editing CNC programs.
· Skilled in the setup and operation of CNC Lathes and Mills.
· Capability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
· Ability to achieve tight tolerances and high-quality finishes.
· Dedication to adhering to rigorous quality control processes and inspections.
· Proficiency in utilizing precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.
· Experience operating 4-axis milling machines / dual spindle, live tooling lathes / knowledge of CAM software is a plus
· Be self-motivated, take initiative, and have strong work ethic.
· Possess a positive and approachable demeanor, adept at social interaction, and capable of fostering a cohesive team spirit among colleagues.
· Exhibit a proactive attitude towards seeking and providing constructive feedback.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Relevant certifications or vocational training in CNC machining or equivalent experience
· Capable of lifting 30lbs and above and standing for long periods of time.
Responsibilities
Employees will be expected to independently set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes. This includes the ability to read prints, interpret setup instructions, and follow directions accurately. Conduct thorough inspections of parts using appropriate measuring equipment to ensure compliance with specifications, adjusting tool and work offsets when required, without supervision. Troubleshoot operations and implement changes as necessary. Maintain detailed documentation during the production process. Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment, documenting any deficiencies.
