Position Overview: The Senior Commercial Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating our commercial projects, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, and timeline. This will include but is not limited to monitoring job sites, supervising subordinate leadership such as superintendents and subcontractors, and budgeting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Delegate tasks effectively and provide guidance to ensure subcontractors meet project goals.
- Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, address challenges, and communicate updates.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and objectives.
- Establish and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.
- Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing regular project updates.
- Proactively manage commercial client expectations and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and exceeds customer expectations.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of James Hardie Products among many other cladding types
- Extensive knowledge of Owens Corning Roofing products among various other roofing applications, brands, and manufacturers
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the exterior construction industry
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong leadership abilities including coaching, mentoring, and disciplinary skills
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulation
- Highly professional verbal and written communication skills to be utilized for both production teams, sales teams, and business partners
- Familiarity with Microsoft/Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education
- Certifications such as LEED, CPM, PMP, etc.
