Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel-powered semi trucks, and trailers. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and longevity of our customers trucks and trailers. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brake systems, and other heavy duty components.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform soldering or wiring repairs to resolve complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols during all repair activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair findings clearly and offering recommendations for ongoing maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a dealership service technician or in a similar automotive or heavy equipment repair environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, HVAC systems, brakes (including air brake systems), and suspension components.
- Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals for precise diagnostics and repairs.
- Hands-on experience with is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques and fabrication processes.
- Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong attention to detail in troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.

Pay: $18.00 - $50.00 per hour
