Job Title: Warehouse Assistant
Reporting to: Operations Manager/Warehouse Controller
Schedule: Full-time, First Shift (Monday-Friday)

About the Role
The Xtrac Warehouse Assistant works in a small warehouse environment (12k SF total facility size) and is responsible for helping with all aspects of the shipping and receiving process. Working alongside our Warehouse Controller, you will be expected to maintain a clean working environment and working at a high level of attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive packages and freight shipments, verify contents against delivery slips, sign for deliveries, and unpack and distribute parts to designated locations or appropriate personnel.
- Pick customer orders accurately and promptly to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Pick parts to be built into kits or assemblies for the Buildshop.
- Assist in weekly cycle counts to help ensure inventory accuracy with the goal of 97% accuracy.
- Transfer stock (physically and electronically) to and from other warehouses or bins within our facility.
- Assemble boxes, containers and crates.
- Pack goods to be shipped and prepare identifying information and shipping details (dimensions and weight).
- Maintain tidy shelves, ensuring dividers are visible, and the correct parts are in them.
- Use inventory management software to accurately record and track all inventory transactions and movements.
- Operate hand truck, carts or other hand equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
- Greet and assist customers that pickup and drop-off at our facility.
- Communicate via company email and via telephone.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Competencies & Qualifications :
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or customer service environment/industry.
- Experience using inventory management systems to track, manage, and report on stock levels preferred.
- Experience using shipping carrier platforms such as UPS, FedEx, and freight broker portals preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- High level of attention to detail and concentration.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, & Teams).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs and above occasionally with assistance.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Regular bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching to access work surfaces.
- Manual dexterity for handling small items and operating equipment.
- Visual acuity for inspecting labels, inventory, and shipments.
