What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Inspector - PM Shift position at XSYS Flexo US, LLC?
XSYS Flexo Us, LLC is a leading specialty chemicals company, and we are seeking a Line Inspector to join out Morristown Team on our PM Shift (8P to 8A).
If you are a detailed-oriented person who loves working in a manufacturing environment and would like to work only 15-days per month while still maintaining FT Status, this may be the role for you!
Job Purpose
- Visual inspection and packaging of plates
Job Responsibilities
- Inspecting plates from D-Line. (Visual inspection for defects)
- Pack plates in cases and bulks. (As defined in pack visuals and Training Instructions)
- Perform visual quality checks and dimension check every 30 minutes. (Must log results in excel spread sheet)
- Proper record keeping using Excel tally sheets
- Proper completion of PO paperwork for each job
- Complete all label per job order and complete certificate of compliance
- Set up and verify accurate operation of on – line camera, laser engraver, and automated trim scrap removal.
- Setting up trucks/materials
- Setting trim knives to proper width
- Coordinate and label recyclable material
- Set up and Calibrate cut down table
- Cut down plates from C & D Line. (Per operating instructions)
- Conversions – Re-pack, Re-Label and cut down to size and process through back exposure unit.
- Maintain clean work area.
