What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at XstremeMD?
XstremeMD is growing! We're opening a new occupational medicine clinic in Kilgore, Texas, and we're looking for a friendly, dependable Medical Assistant to join our team.
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday, daytime position, offering a great work-life balance and the opportunity to be part of a brand-new clinic from day one.
What You'll Do:
- Welcome and register patients while providing exceptional customer service
- Obtain vital signs and medical histories
- Assist providers with patient care and occupational health services
- Perform drug and alcohol testing, hearing tests, respirator fit testing, and other clinical screenings
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
- Keep exam rooms and supplies organized and stocked
- Work closely with providers to ensure an efficient, positive patient experience
What We're Looking For:
- Current Medical Assistant certification (preferred)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
