Sandblasting and Industrial painting company in Jacksonville AR looking to fill painting position
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/EXPECTATIONS:
Operates a paint sprayer or other equipment to apply industrial class A paint finishes to machinery and machinery parts, according to factory specifications and work order
Cleans and maintains paint equipment
Mixes paints and other solutions
Visually inspect parts for defects prior to and post paint application
Adheres to environmental and safety policies and procedures
Tracks and records paint usage and processes
Conducts quality inspections to identify and correct product defects
We are looking for someone experienced who we can rely on to work independently with little oversight, that we can hold to a high standard of work. We are willing to pay top dollar, for top quality work.
Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday-Friday
Job Type: Full-time.
Requirements:
Experience operating a HVLP paint sprayer and/or conventional air type spray equipment, preferably on automotive body, boats or heavy equipment
Experience using & mixing polyurethane paints
Ability to visually identify paint prep defects
High attention to detail
Experience cutting and buffing a plus
Salary : $15 - $25
