Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to execute daily delivery routes.
- Load, secure, and unload products manually while adhering to safety protocols.
- Deliver products accurately and on schedule to various customer locations, ensuring proper handling and placement of goods.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route sheets, and documentation of deliveries and pickups.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred, especially with route driving responsibilities.
- Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with loading/unloading procedures.
- Proven ability to operate box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmissions safely.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Experience using forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous; certification is a plus but not required.
- Physical ability to lift and perform moving tasks efficiently throughout the day.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with
