Responsibilities
- Educate Clients: Inform clients about the sealing process, benefits, and maintenance requirements, ensuring they understand the importance of roof sealant for extending the life of their roof.
- Conduct door-to-door visits to introduce and promote our products and services to potential customers.
- Generate leads, proactively reach out to potential clients, and cultivate a strong referral network.
- Provide job estimates based on accurate measurements and consider additional factors while communicating with clients to understand their needs and recommend the best products and solutions.
- Utilize Salesforce and other software tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and report on sales activities.
- Engage in warm calling and outbound calling efforts to follow up with leads generated from door-to-door visits.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective sales strategies and share best practices.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and industry trends to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
- Provide job estimates based on accurate measurements and consider additional factors while communicating with clients to understand their needs and recommend the best products and solutions.
- Achieve individual sales targets while contributing to overall team goals.
- Perform On-Site Assessments: Conduct roof inspections to evaluate potential issues and recommend appropriate sealing or repair solutions.
- Attend Networking Events: Participate in local community events and homeowner associations to build relationships and generate leads.
- Attend sales meetings to review job details and assignments with the sales team.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of all company-owned mobile equipment, and promptly report any issues to management.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates should possess natural confidence, strong persuasion, and interpersonal skills, with a solid customer service background.
- Previous experience in sales or telemarketing is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with technical sales concepts is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate product benefits clearly.
- Proven ability to build rapport with customers and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using software tools such as Salesforce for tracking sales activities is desirable.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to walk, stand, and engage in outdoor activities for extended periods while conducting door-to-door visits.
- Proficient in Google Suite, Apple mobile interface, and CRM software, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Comfortable driving a company vehicle for extended hours.
- Able to work comfortably outdoors in all NY seasonal climates.
- Persuasive Sales Techniques: Proven ability to effectively handle objections and convert potential leads into clients.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the area or community being served to maximize outreach and connect with potential customers.

COMPENSATION: Hourly, starting at $19 per hour, based on experience.
HOURS: Full-time, 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Daily hours may vary.
