What you’ll need to succeed as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at XPO
Minimum qualifications:
- 1 year of related work experience
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, HRIS or other data entry systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 2 years of experience in recruiting, recruiting coordination or related area
- Experience SuccessFactors
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of employment laws
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/French
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Create requisitions and post positions to appropriate sources
- Prepare and send pre-boarding documents to prospective candidates
- Initiate and monitor background and onboarding steps
- Review and evaluate applicants to ensure they meet the position requirements
- Audit pre-employment onboarding documentation to ensure compliance
- Answer questions and provide coaching to HR, hiring managers and potential applicants
