Human Resources Generalist

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting a broad range of HR functions while partnering with leadership to ensure efficient day-to-day human resources operations. This individual contributor role provides support across payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, talent acquisition, leave administration, compliance, and HR policy administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll and support payroll reporting, reconciliations, and related accounting activities.
• Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee communications.
• Coordinate leave of absence programs, workplace accommodations, and workers' compensation claims while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws.
• Maintain employee personnel records and HR documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and pre-employment processes.
• Partner with managers on employee relations matters, performance concerns, policy interpretation, and workplace issues.
• Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates.
• Support compensation reviews, job description updates, and annual benefits administration activities.
• Coordinate retirement plan administration and other employee programs with internal and external partners.
• Stay current on employment laws, HR best practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Participate in employee engagement initiatives, company events, and special HR projects.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department and perform additional duties as assigned.
