Job Description
As VP of Product Management reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will be responsible for managing Xplor’s Home Services and Personal Services products, partnering closely with cross-functional leaders to optimize the revenue stream, cost structure, efficiency, performance, and scalability, continuously improving all aspects of the products and services to meet evolving market trends, customer needs, and company goals and strategies. Under your leadership, you will also reinforce the customer-focused culture and strengthen our product management team by applying best practices and processes and recruiting and nurturing top talents.
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmap for SaaS products and services in Xplor’s Home Services and Personal Services vertical to deliver customer value and drive growth.
Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Service and Support leadership to align on strategic priorities and build a shared vision for success.
Focus on the customer and gain customer insights with the team through on-site visits, interviews, and analyzing feedback and user data.
Use data and customer insights to confidently make decisions and set directions.
Drive the evolution and adoption of the Xplor global product development process, metrics, tools, and systems.
Be a player-coach and hands-on lead and inspire our product manager to evangelize product initiatives, motivate cross-functional teams, and define and deliver functional and intuitive customer experiences.
Promote and facilitate the product team’s continuous professional development and build a culture of learning and creative collaboration.
Manage and develop the team, including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, coaching, planning, and performance management in a supportive, team-oriented, collaborative manner.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
10 years of product management experience with demonstrated success launching web, mobile, and/or Cloud SaaS products.
5 years of leadership experience with a successful track record of building and leading product teams, preferably managing a portfolio of multiple SaaS products.
Experienced with small and midsize enterprise business management solutions.
Experience in the Home Services (i.e. HVAC) and Personal Service (i.e. dry cleaning) industries is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to drive product strategy and effectively coordinate cross-functional efforts through all stages of the product development cycle.
Experienced with shared services and integrations across multiple products.
Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills to prioritize and update the product roadmap, balance strategic and tactical priorities, and properly set expectations.
Exemplify data-informed decision-making and showcase successes.
Practical understanding and application of product development and product marketing techniques, principles, and best practices.
Strong independent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, self-direction, and innovative thinking.
An aptitude and affinity for team collaboration, synthesizing complex information, and communicating effectively and openly with cross-functional teams and leaders.
Passionate about learning, coaching, and professional development for the team.
