Xplor Preschool is seeking an ambitious and passionate Preschool Assistant Teacher to support the 2-3 year old room at our premier preschool in Haslet, TX This is an incredible opportunity for an ambitious, experienced preschool teacher who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering excellence in early childhood education.
Location: 13900 Sendera Ranch Blvd. Haslet TX 76052
Hours: 9:30-6:30 PM | Monday - Friday
Student Age Range: 2-3 year olds
Pay Range: $15.00 - $16.50
Responsibilities:
- Culture: Positively influence your peers to work toward and meet the school’s vision of excellence. Provides and maintains quality education programs. Ensures successful implementation of approved curriculum.
- Health & Safety: Prioritizes a safe, clean, and attractive learning environment. Maintains compliance with accreditation and state licensing requirements as well as all applicable state and federal laws, and internal policies and procedures.
- Educate, Inspire, Engage: Our Preschool Assistant Teachers are enthusiastic about developing life-long learners, genuinely care about children, and possess the sensitivity and knowledge to understand a child’s individual needs while fostering an inclusive classroom.
- Relationship Building: Have a strong desire to work collaboratively with a talented team of diverse educators and administrators. Develop and maintain interpersonal relationships with the families, students, and school community.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Often carrying and lifting 25 pounds or less (25-50%) and occasionally carrying 25-50 pounds (10-25%).
- At least 6 months of experience working in a licensed childcare facility, preferred.
