Should possess skills and experience in the following:
Data Integration:
Development of operational processes to perform Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) of data from source transactional systems to an Enterprise Data Warehouse and Datamarts using Informaticas PowerCenter or SAP Business Objects Data Services.
Job scheduling, job dependancies, automation scripting, batch cycles.
Daily change data capture as well as real time data replication and synchronization in a windows, IBM mainframe, or Linux environment.
Data integration services utilizing APIs, web services, or file transfers of XML,JSON, delimited or fixed-width files.
Data Architectcure and data Analytics:
Business intelligence reporting using Information builders' WebFOCUS
Development of dashboards and analytics of key performance indicators(KPIs) and forecasts.
Data Architecture, design and modeling of an Enterprise Data Warehouse and it's associated Business Glossary, data Dictionary and Metadata Repository.
Leadership in the elements of data Governance and Data Management, including
MDM - master data Management
Reference data management
Data stewardship/ Ownership
Data Quality
A strong understanding of relational databases and SQL proficiency is required for both positions. applicants must be adept in managing all phases of the software development lifecycle. Experience with life Insurance and Annuity financial products, or fraternal membership organization is a plus, as is a solid working understanding of ITIL or ITSM concepts.
