The Role

We are hiring a Vice President of Finance to own the finance function. This is a hands-on build role, not an oversight role. You will be responsible for the monthly close, GAAP financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, board-level reporting, and tax and compliance obligations, executing them yourself or through an outside firm you select and manage. You will report directly to the CEO and work alongside our fractional CFO.

You will participate in our next fundraise: the financial model, the data room, the metrics package, and diligence. If you have the experience and appetite to lead the raise, that path is open to you, but it is not the core of the role. The core is a finance function that is always investor-ready.

What You Will Own

• Monthly close and GAAP financial statements, performed directly or through a managed outside firm
• Budgeting, forecasting, and the operating financial model
• Board reporting and investor-grade KPI packages
• Fundraise participation: data room, diligence responses, metrics, cap table hygiene
• Tax, audit, and compliance obligations
• Financial coordination with our India subsidiary, including intercompany accounting

What We Require

• Hands-on finance leadership at a venture-backed technology company, as VP of Finance, Head of Finance, Controller, or CFO
• Direct, inside-the-company experience carrying a Series B or Series C raise: you built the model, ran the data room, and answered the diligence, whether or not you fronted the pitch
• You were responsible for monthly close and GAAP reporting
• Fluency in SaaS metrics: ARR, net revenue retention, CAC, gross margin, unit economics
• Willingness to work on-site in Scottsdale, AZ

Years of experience matter less to us than what you have personally carried. A candidate with fewer years who has taken a company through a B or C round from the inside will be taken seriously.

Preferred

• CPA
• AI or SaaS company experience
• Healthcare or revenue cycle exposure
• Experience coordinating with offshore finance teams
