About the Role:
For one of our clients, a Boston-based robotics startup developing cloud-connected autonomous systems for logistics and smart-facility automation, we are looking for a Robotics Software Engineer to join their team on a remote basis. In this role, you’ll build perception, navigation, and control software used in real-world environments.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop software for autonomous navigation, localisation, and sensor fusion
- Integrate robotics algorithms for mapping, obstacle detection, and path planning
- Build tools for telemetry, simulation, and performance evaluation
- Support cloud connectivity and remote device operations
Skills & Tools:
- C and Python for robotics systems
- ROS/ROS2, Gazebo, RViz
- SLAM algorithms, computer vision basics, sensor fusion
- Lidar, camera, IMU integration
- Git, Docker, CI/CD familiarity
