Overview
Xpert Security Consultants is seeking professional, dependable, and customer-focused Nightlife Security Officers to provide a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and guests at nightlife venues and private events throughout Kentucky.
You will be responsible for maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring guest behavior, preventing disturbances, enforcing venue policies, and responding appropriately to incidents while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service.
Nightlife Security Officers represent both Xpert Security Consultants and our clients. Professional appearance, sound judgment, and effective communication are essential.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide a highly visible security presence.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated security areas.
- Verify guest identification and age when required.
- Control guest access and occupancy limits.
- Conduct bag inspections or security screenings when authorized.
- Monitor crowds for suspicious or disruptive behavior.
- Enforce venue policies professionally and consistently.
- De-escalate verbal conflicts before they become physical.
- Remove disruptive or trespassed individuals when authorized.
- Respond to fights, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other incidents.
- Complete accurate Incident Reports before the end of each shift.
- Work closely with venue management, event staff, EMS, and law enforcement when necessary.
- Protect client property from theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
- Maintain radio communication with supervisors and fellow officers.
- Perform routine patrols throughout assigned venues.
- Report all hazards and safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with emergency evacuations when required.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding clients, guests, and company operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional security presence.
Job Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Valid government-issued identification
- Working cell phone with email access
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to make sound decisions in stressful situations

Compensation
- Nightlife Security Officer: $15.00–$25.00/hour*
