XPEL, Inc. (NASDAQ: XPEL), a leading supplier of automotive paint protection films, window films, ceramic coatings, and commercial/residential flat glass films, is currently seeking a Production Manager in Greer, SC.
Job Summary
The Production Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and production performance of the site OEM program, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality output. This role manages onsite installation teams, monitors key performance metrics, and coordinates logistics and customer communication on a daily basis. Additionally, this role drives continuous improvement, leads team development, and collaborates cross-functionally to support operational success.
Core Duties
- Monitor and manage facility KPI’s
- Coordinate and provide daily logistics updates to the customer
- Work with People and Culture to strategically recruit for expansion of current application facility
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Mentor and provide for job welfare of all subordinate employees; this encompasses management, hiring, developing, and holding employees accountable.
- Supervise and ensure safe and effective work environment, including all operational equipment, acquisition & storage of resources and installation products as well as maintaining an active, accurate inventory
- Coordinate with relevant internal and external teams to execute issue resolution. This includes Finance, Technical, Operations & Accounting.
- Actively manage relationships with local customer Operation & Logistic teams to facilitate mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Additional duties as specified by management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 years management experience in a similar environment.
- Engineering experience preferred
- Exposure with ISO Quality Management Systems
- Demonstrated management of teams
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Customer facing experience preferred
- Six Sigma White/Yellow Belt preferred
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must have a reliable mode of transportation and the ability to be on time
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Outgoing personality
