We have experience helping a diverse client base in warehousing services, transportation management, supply chain management, order fulfillment and labor needs.Shift: 5am - 1:30pmHourly: $17.00SummaryThis person will perform the duties of a Tire Freight Handler. This person will be responsible for manually loading and/or unloading and stacking tires from/to containers and trailers onto pallets and moving pallets using a manual pallet jack. In addition to operating a Cherry Picker and Sit Down Forklift. Roles and Responsibilities Manually stack tires into or onto containers, trailers or pallets.Utilize proper tire stacking procedures to ensure tires are stacked in a safe, secure and stable manner.Properly sort tires before loading or unloading per paperwork specifications.Verify correct and suitable trailers are used per paperwork specifications.Accurately provide tire counts by correctly filling out proper paperwork.Execute assigned unload/loading production schedule as assigned by supervisor/site management.Conduct operations in a manner promoting safetyMust be super-efficient in all tasks requiredPut away inbound shipments/move product to storage locations using a forkliftPicking cases by the each onto pallets using the powered equipmentPrepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and correct item is staged for loadingKeep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracyReport quality variancesMaintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashionAssist in any required physical inventoriesAdheres to all corporate and site specific policies/procedures, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS standards.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standardsAbility to read, understand and follow instructions, and to code applicable documentsMinimum Qualifications and Physical Demands Ability to constantly lift up to 70lbs for prolonged periods of time.Minimum of 6 months of forklift and warehouse experienceCherry Picker and Sit-down lift experience required Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.Strong attention to details, accuracy and accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.Effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-pace work environment.Ability to handle physical expectations of this roleAbility to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull or carry objectsAbility to use abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly.SafetyObserve and follow health and safety regulations Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and proceduresMaintain detailed records of safety incidentsAssign designated safety personnelMaintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
