Job Description
Xpand Network is hiring a Construction Laborer to support active commercial construction and property improvement projects in Northern Indiana and Northeast Illinois.
This is a field role working alongside our carpentry and construction crew on real commercial jobsites. You don't need to be a finished tradesman — but you do need to show up, work hard, and take direction well. If you're looking to get into commercial construction and build real skills alongside experienced tradespeople, this is a solid opportunity.
Project & Location Details
- Current engagement: Multi-week commercial project in the Channahon, IL area
- Ongoing work: Primarily Porter County, Indiana going forward
- Regional travel is required based on project needs
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting carpenters and field leads with hands-on construction tasks
- Moving and staging materials, tools, and equipment on jobsites
- Assisting with demolition, cleanup, and site prep
- Keeping the jobsite clean, organized, and safe throughout the day
- Taking direction from the field foreman and executing tasks efficiently
- Pitching in wherever needed to keep the project moving
What We're Looking For
- Construction or general labor experience preferred.
- Physically capable of performing demanding outdoor and indoor field work
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent — shows up ready to work
- Takes direction well and follows through without being chased
- Comfortable working in varying weather and job conditions
- Valid driver's license
