This is a part-time remote role for a Satellite Systems Engineer. The Satellite Systems Engineer will be responsible for managing requirements, performing systems engineering tasks, and developing satellite systems. The role involves analyzing system performance, ensuring the integration of different subsystems, and providing technical support for satellite missions. The candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to innovate and solve complex challenges in orbital debris detection.
- Experience in Requirements Management and Systems Engineering
- Proficient in Satellite Systems Engineering and Satellite Systems knowledge
- Strong Analytical Skills for system performance analysis and troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience with space situational awareness and orbital debris management is a plus
