Job Summary
Food preparation at a commissary kitchen for a food truck.
Schedule: Part-Time
- Saturday, Sundays, Mondays
Responsibilities
- Prepare and chop ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
- Assist in the cooking process by preparing sauces, marinades, and other components.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Follow instructions from chefs regarding meal preparation techniques and presentation.
Qualifications
- Min. 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Familiarity with various kitchen equipment and tools used in meal preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
