XNRGY is seeking a qualified Sales Application Engineer to join its team located in Arizona. Reporting to VP of Mission Critical, you will be a crucial member of the sales team combining your technical expertise with sales acumen to drive the company’s growth.
An overview of your responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients in the HVAC industry
- Respond to customer inquiries, providing product information, pricing, and technical support
- Design and prepare technical data including dimensional drawings
- Create proposals and corresponding bid documents
- Contribute to the development of Sales Tools
- Organize customer factory visits/witness testing and coordinate with other departments
- Assist in the preparation of documents and technical presentations to support the sales team
- Prepare documentation for a bid process
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to create customized solutions for clients
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to clients
- Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and stay informed about industry trends
- Maintain accurate records of channel sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups in the CRM system
- Prepare CRM reports on territorial activities and bid prospects
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to overall team success
- Participate in trade shows, training, and industry events to promote products and network with potential clients
What you'll need, among other things!
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace or chemical engineering or other related fields
- Minimum 3 years experience in systems design or HVAC equipment sales
- Proactive team player with a sense of responsibility and capable to work in a fast-paced environment
- Capacity to apply and maintain administrative processes to improve company overall effectiveness
- Effective problem-solving skills and being initiative with the ability to work effectively when managing multiple tasks
- Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset
- Excellent organization and communication skill
- Able to travel occasionally across North America
