How this job will fit your life:
- Hours – 9am to 5pm
- Days – Monday through Friday
- Pay – Commensurate based on experience
What you can expect each day:
- Responsible for preparing cost estimates for production projects
- Analyze project specification and drawings
- Identify design and production issues and analyze to determine manufacturability
- Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project
- Prepare and assemble bids and proposals for various contract types
- Collaborate with production managers to ensure that tolerances are appropriately captured in the estimate

What the position requires:
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Knowledge of fabrication materials, methods, and procedures
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Mastercam, and AutoCAD
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Quoting experience in machining/fabrication
- Engineering degree PREFERRED
- JobBoss experience is a plus
