Production Assistant/Video Editor

Position Summary

This position is ideal for a student or someone who has at least 1 year of video editing and wants to make a difference.

What you’ll do in this role:

• Manipulate and edit raw video footage.
• Create compelling videos from raw video footage.
• Grasp the production team's needs and specifications within branding guidelines.
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
• Include music, dialogues, graphics, and effects into raw video footage.
• Create rough and optimized final cuts for various placements on websites, social media, and other platforms.
• Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process.
• Implement industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Work collaboratively and cooperatively with key company leaders to make sure final productions are aligned with corporate needs.
• Meet deadlines for each production.
• Provide creative suggestions for production of video content.

How you will succeed in this role:

• Proven working experience (1 year minimum) in video editing (Demo Reel/ Portfolio Required)
• Solid foundation with editing software programs (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize daily work efficiently.
• Excellent project management and time management skills
• Attention to detail with ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points.
• Ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes.
• Be a collaborative team player who is willing to work with others and independently.
• Strong work ethic focused on commitment, pride in work, quality, desire to learn, and dependability.

Headquartered in American Fork, Utah. This position is approxiamly 20-30 hours per week depending on need. Scheduled work time is flexible, but preferred during normal Mon-Fri schedule.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary. May eventually turn into a full-time role.
