***This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain and maintain an agency clearance, therefore all applicants must have the legal ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance***

***Candidates must be located in the Arlington, VA area to be considered for an interview.***

The position is involved in all phases of the application development process from requirements, design, implementation, operations, and maintenance. The candidates should have strong communication skills and can work independently on all phases of the project using an iterative agile like process. The position is responsible for full stack web application development using Microsoft .NET technology and Oracle RDBMS. Qualified candidates should have strong skills in frontend frameworks like Vue, React, or Angular (preferably Vue) and have strong knowledge of .NET web application development frameworks and libraries. This includes front end Single Page Application (SPA) development, well-structured middle tier API/Services, and data model design/implementation.

Required Skills:

• .NET (web frameworks, libraries, unit testing frames, and design best practices)
• Vue3 (or similar front end framework like React or Angular - Vue is preferred)
• JavaScript
• HTML
• CSS/CSS Framework like Bootstrap
• SQL/data modeling and experience working with relational database for data persistence.
• Familiarity with Git and common code branching strategies

Below are skills that are nice to have:

• Experience working with accounting systems like CGI Momentum software or other COTS product.
• Experience development applications to Financial and Acquisition Management controls/business processes.
• Web application design experience/best practices and familiarity with design tools like Figma/Lucid.
• Experience with Oracle PLSQL or Oracle DBA experience
• Experience with cloud native application development using CICD pipelines and containers
• Experience with AWS services
• Experience with modern build systems
• Experience with legacy JavaScript frameworks like JQuery/JQuery UI
• Experience customizing Bootstrap using Saas

Technology Development/Automation:

Activities:

• Using Robotic Process Automation in a Microsoft environment:
• Using available technologies automate current FA systems while working within the DEA secure but unclassified network
• Develop and automate labor saving, and trend analysis tools that will assist FA in being A) more efficient, B) more effective, and C) more innovative
• Support market research on the Department of Justice’s requirements for a new state of the art automated acquisition system (Contract Writing System, Ordering systems, etc.)
