Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on powersports vehicles using specialized automotive and powersports diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair or replace mechanical components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems with precision and care.
- Assemble new vehicles and install aftermarket accessories utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques when necessary.
- Test ride repaired vehicles to verify quality control standards are met before returning them to customers.
- Maintain detailed service records, parts inventory logs, and work order documentation for transparency and accountability.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and recommending maintenance tips to enhance vehicle longevity.
Qualifications
- Previous dealership experience or service technician background working with powersports or automotive vehicles is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and suspension systems.
- Ability to lift heavy components safely during vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Experience with vehicle assembly, brake repair, automotive repair procedures, and general maintenance practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting electrical issues is a plus.
