What are the responsibilities and job description for the Captain position at Xiquet?
Xiquet (pronounced chee-KETT) by internationally award-winning Chef Danny Lledó earned its MICHELIN Star in 2021, and each year since, just one year after opening its intimate dining room in Glover Park. Now recognized among the best fine dining restaurants in Washington, DC, Xiquet offers modern Spanish cuisine inspired by the flavors and traditions of Valencia, brought to life with the finest ingredients from around the world and warm Mediterranean hospitality.
Guests enjoy a curated 10-course tasting menu that begins with vibrant aperitivos and tells the story of Valencia through Chef Danny’s perspective. The entire menu is prepared in our stunning, glass-enclosed, wood-fire kitchen—an immersive feature at the heart of the experience.
Service concludes in our elegant mezzanine lounge with after-dinner drinks and special treats.
Join one of the most decorated teams for Spanish Cuisine North America. At Xiquet, you'll spend your evenings engaging with curious, cultured guests, focusing on quality and storytelling—not volume. This is a place where hospitality professionals can truly thrive, grow, and be proud of their craft.
