What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Technician position at Xinnovit?
- Sample Tasks:
- Install or replace physical network switches and ports in the client's system infrastructure throughout the organization
- Support System Engineers in diagnosing and troubleshooting network connectivity issues
- Support and communicate about workspace standard power systems and wireless connectivity issues with the network team
- Document work performed using pictures, notes, and shared spreadsheets
- Ensure equipment installation is in proper location of the client's connected infrastructure
- Ensure basic installation steps are performed
- Communicate set-up issues and concerns with System Engineers and the network team
- Identify appropriate hardware equipment to be transported and delivered for the required job
- Safely load and secure hardware equipment in the client's vehicles
- Document appropriate hardware equipment delivered to System Engineer
- Discuss planned hardware transportation, installation, schedule, and connection with the Systems Engineer
- Assist the Systems Engineer in layout of new infrastructure equipment
- Communicate planned work completion or issues
- Provide knowledge transfer to other Network Team members as required system infrastructure throughout the organization

Required Skills:
- High school diploma/GED AND four or more years of relevant work experience; or an Associate or higher degree OR two-year college/technical school certification AND two or more years of relevant work experience
- Cisco certification
- Azure certification
- Experience working with General low voltage power, multi-media connectivity, and SolarWinds
- Experience reading blueprints and floor plans
- Experience promoting an equitable, positive, and respectful work environment that values culture and diversity among all employees
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
