Job Summary

Our company specializes in custom built computer systems, flight simulator set-ups, and offers remote service support including custom configurations of hardware and software, and troubleshooting. We also carry a wide variety of computer components, and simulation peripherals. A fundamental knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, troubleshooting, and retail sales is strongly recommended. Join our team as a Part Time Computer Tech Support and Sales specialist, where you will provide IT support, troubleshoot software and hardware issues.

This position is equally involved in sales as it is with tech support. This position involves speaking to prospective customers regarding their needs regarding computing power as well as the peripharels they need for flight simming.

This could be a great opportunity for someone who is retired and looking for something fun and challenging as well as someone interested in flying and flight simulation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt and effective technical support to end-users via remote and phone support, resolving issues related to hardware and software.
• Help customers set up their flight simulation packages over the phone by answering questions and remoting into their computers and assisting.
• Consult with customers pre-sale about their computing needs.

Requirements

• Experience with Windows 11 and desktop computers and peripharels.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting software issues
• Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems including Windows 10 and 11.
• Strong communication skills to effectively assist users at all levels while providing clear instructions and solutions
• Analysis skills to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective resolutions quickly

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Work Location: In person
