Regional Sales Manager
The Regional Sales Manager is a key outside sale role responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, building and nurturing strong client relationships, and driving account growth. This position involves developing strategic account management plans, collaboration with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions, and identifying new opportunities to expand business within the assigned territories. As a vital member of a cross functional engineering/sales team that achieves targeted performance goals to ensure company growth and profitability.
The role will require the following attributes:
Duties and Responsibilities
• Meet with existing and potential customers. Actively engage in direct sales activities, including identifying, contacting, and conducting meetings with potential customers.
• Identify customer needs and provide customized solutions to address those needs.
• Qualify leads using various channels, such as phone calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and trade show to identify and qualify new businesses leads.
• Seek out new customers and promote XFMRS standard & custom products and services.
• 50% Minimum Travel required within the territory, manage, and visit accounts on a regular basis to provide continuous support and generate new business for the company.
• Work closely with Inside sales and cross-functional teams to support customer requirements.
• Timely communication of sales leads and customer requirements to the engineering and sales team.
• Prepare and submit detailed trip reports summarizing face to face & virtual meetings with customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to identify opportunities or challenges.
Required Experience and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following; Business, Marketing, or Electrical Engineering.
• Highly motivated and target driven individual.
• Customer service oriented, with the ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Electronic industry experience is a plus.
• Technical background is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and manage territory.
• 0-5 years of technical experience as an outside sales rep.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to fully understand and generate sales and project reports.
• Self-motivated
• Optimally be able to use the MS Office Suite.

Compensation
Incentive Commission Plans
Pay negotiable based on skills and years of experience.
