Engineering Manager:
The Engineering Manager is an experienced and dynamic leader. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering with experience in the HVAC industry. This person should have proven experience leading teams, projects, and collaborating with upper-level management. The engineering Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding our engineering team to drive innovation, efficiency, and excellence in all products and processes.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management
· Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
· Provide guidance, direction, and support to team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
· Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and identify opportunities for professional development.
2. Project Management
· Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams including product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance to drive project success.
· Monitor project timelines and resource allocation, identifying and addressing potential risks and obstacles.
3. Technical Expertise
· Apply deep knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and HVAC systems to provide technical guidance and solutions.
· Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and documentation ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
· Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating innovative approaches to enhance product performance and competitiveness.
4. Process Improvement
· Identify opportunities to streamline engineering processes and workflows, driving efficiencies and cost savings.
· Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to propose and implement innovative ideas.
5. Stakeholder Communication
· Collaborate with internal stakes holders such as sales, marketing, and customer support to address customer needs and market demands.
· Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on project status, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in an engineering role, preferably within the HVAC manufacturing industry.
· Strong Technical Expertise in mechanical engineering principles and HVAC systems.
· Proven track record of successfully leading and managing engineering teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
· Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in project management tools and software.
· Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
