Job Description
The Entry Level Production Operator aids in the manufacturing process rotating positions as determined by the production supervisor. The successful applicant must be a flexible and motivated individual willing to work in a team fashion to achieve production goals and objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Handling and batching materials.
- Manual feed to conveyor.
- Bagging and palletizing.
- Operate machinery and lifting equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized working area and assist with maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED preferred.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong work ethic and punctuality.
- Able to work on foot for extended periods.
- Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 55 lbs.
- Minimum 1-year production experience.
- Work within a team-based environment.
- Experience operating a forklift truck preferred.
Xertech Specialties is an industrial ceramics producer located in Pacific, MO, just outside of St. Louis. The company specializes in high-temperature refractory materials used in industrial markets such as petrochemical, steel, ferrous and nonferrous foundries, cement, power generation, and others.
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
