Packaging Room Associate
Position Summary
This position is responsible for completing primary and secondary packaging room activities as directed by a Packaging Room Supervisor and/or the Operations Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for proper labeling, assembly, and packaging of products (i.e., vials, bottles, kits, and finished goods) in accordance with specific client requirements.
- Labels and documents packaged materials accurately, ensuring compliance with traceability and batch record requirements.
- Reads and understands process steps within the batch record to ensure compliance with the requirements.
- Inspects the quality of product during production, packaging, and labeling.
- Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Performs bottle filling, inspection of blister strips and sealing of blister cards.
- Operates semi-automated packaging equipment in primary and secondary packaging rooms.
- Performs major and minor cleans in primary packaging rooms, secondary packaging rooms, and on all equipment.
- Identifies and reports any quality defects or process deviations to supervision.
- Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to work schedule.
- Demonstrates a Teamwork attitude by working well and effectively with others.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the packaging area.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High school degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and interpret batch records, SOPs, and labeling requirements
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform detailed visual inspection tasks
- Follows instructions well.
- Works well with others within and outside of the packaging rooms.
- Displays a grasp of cGMPs.
- Complies with written SOPs.
- Clearly documents actions.
- Ability to work independently.
- Observes relevant safety procedures in regard to the operation of any appropriate equipment in primary and secondary packaging rooms.
- English literacy
- General mathematical skills
