Title: -Snowflake AWS Architect
Location: - Washington, DC (3 days onsite 2 days remote in a week)
Job Description: -
- 8 years of industry experience, including at least 3 years in a Snowflake consulting environment
- Experience implementing and operating Snowflake centric solutions
- Candidate should have strong experience in AWS services as well.
- Proficiency in implementing data security measures, access controls, and design specifically within the Snowflake platform
- Understanding of complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics tools
- Strong skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing
- Extensive hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics
- Familiarity with data science concepts and Python is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of Snowflake components
- Snowpipe
- Query Parsing and Optimization
- Snowpark
- Snowflake ML
- Authorization and Access control management in Snowflake.
- Metadata Management
- Infrastructure Management & Auto-scaling - Supports multi-cluster and auto-scaling
- Knowledge of handling PII using Data Masking
- Snowflake Marketplace for datasets and applications
- DevOps & Orchestration: Airflow, dbt, Jenkins
- Good to have Snowflake certifications
- Strong communication and presentation skills—confident in engaging both technical and executive audiences
- Skilled in working collaboratively across engineering, product, and customer success teams
