We are looking for a Senior FinOps Engineer with expertise in AWS Cloud Cost Management, FinOps, and AI/Generative AI Cost Optimization. The ideal candidate will lead cloud financial governance, optimize AWS and AI infrastructure costs, and implement automation to maximize business value while ensuring cost-efficient cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement FinOps strategies to optimize AWS cloud spending.
- Manage cloud cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Optimize Kubernetes, container, and AI/ML infrastructure costs, including LLM inference, GPU utilization, token consumption, and prompt optimization.
- Build automated solutions for cost allocation, anomaly detection, virtual tagging, and cloud governance.
- Perform TCO, ROI, and CapEx vs. OpEx analysis to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, AI, Finance, and Procurement teams to drive cost optimization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or IT.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS FinOps and Cloud Cost Management.
- 1 year of experience with AI/ML or Generative AI cost optimization.
