UX/UI Designer (contract)

In this dynamic role, you will be an integral part of our design team, focusing on transforming feature-level designs into comprehensive development specifications. Your expertise in leveraging design systems and adhering to best practice UI patterns will ensure that our digital products maintain a high standard of consistency, usability, accessibility, and quality. Collaborating closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams—including product owners, developers, scrum masters, and accessibility analysts—you will contribute to the creation of intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior designers, product owners, and scrum masters to understand feature requirements and delivery timelines.
• Translate high-level design concepts into detailed development specifications, including documentation for edge cases and empty/error states.
• Utilize thoughtful layers, assets, design systems, and UI patterns to create consistent and scalable design solutions.
• Ensure all design work aligns with best practices for usability, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve design practices.
