The paralegal intern will have the opportunity to further develop their legal education, establish meaningful contacts, improve the quality of their work product through comprehensive feedback, and aspire to a rewarding career in the law. This is a paid position which runs concurrently with the 15-week course semesters, working part-time up to 20 hours per week over the course of a year.

Essential Responsibilities
- Legal reading/writing content
- Legal Research
- Draft routine pleadings, contracts and agreements
- Prepare case summaries
- Compile and track data from documents into document management system
- Review business agreements, non-disclosure agreements and other legal documents
- Perform a variety of technical, and administrative tasks using in-house platforms
- Other duties as determined
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited community college or university paralegal program pursuing a paralegal certification, (Associate of Applied Science) A.A.S. with emphasis in paralegal studies. Recent graduates are not eligible.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Westlaw
- Completed the classes: Legal Research, Civil Litigation, Evidence, and Legal Writing course curriculums
- Strong attention to detail
