Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily onsite construction activities for utility-scale BESS installation
- Monitor contractor work to ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, schedules, and quality requirements
- Participate in project meetings and support field-level decision making
- Conduct inspections and reporting related to construction progress, equipment deliveries, and installation activities
- Review drawings, schedules, and construction documentation to verify contractor accuracy and workmanship
- Coordinate with project leadership, safety teams, inspectors, administrators, and EPC contractors
- Prepare weekly reports and present project updates to stakeholders
- Provide technical direction and recommendations regarding construction methods and field execution
- Support conflict resolution, issue management, and schedule coordination onsite
- Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example in all field operations
- 10–15 years of construction management experience within utility, renewable energy, industrial, mechanical, or civil construction environments
- Strong background in utility-scale solar, BESS, or related renewable energy infrastructure projects
- Experience working with:
- Racking systems
- Inverters
- Multiple equipment manufacturers and system components
- Demonstrated ability to lead construction teams and manage contractor performance
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, schedules, inspections, and field verification processes
- Proven safety leadership experience
- Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced field environment

- Occasional overtime required
- Flexible start/end times between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM
- Full-time onsite role
- 3 onsite construction personnel
- 100 EPC contractors
- Competitive compensation package
- Per diem provided in accordance with GSA guidelines
- $350/month travel stipend
