Well-Funded Series A Start-up – Designs & Manufactures LiDAR-on-a-chip technology for 3D sensing
We are seeking skilled Lead & Senior Technician's to join our team in the assembly and testing of advanced LIDAR sensors. You will perform sub-assembly and final assembly of components, including PCBs, flex circuits, and mechanical parts, ensuring precise integration and functionality. You will conduct electrical and functional testing to validate sensor performance, package and label finished units for shipment & maintain accurate inventory records.
Additionally, you will support process development by identifying improvements to tools, fixtures, and work instructions, while assisting and training team members during builds. A commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and ESD-safe workspace is essential, along with proactive communication of progress, issues, and ideas to engineering and manufacturing teams.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or hands-on technical training in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in electronic or electromechanical assembly and testing.
- Skilled in high-precision electronics sub- and final assembly, using hand tools, gages, fixtures, and performing basic electrical testing and calibration
- Comfortable reading assembly drawings, test procedures, and work instructions
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced lab environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assembling or testing LIDAR, optical, or sensor systems.
- Familiarity with inventory or build-tracking systems.
- Prior experience training or mentoring other technicians.
- Understanding of cleanroom or ESD-safe handling practices.
Salary : $40 - $70
