We are seeking an Assistant Construction Manager to support the successful delivery of major construction and EPC projects. Working closely with the Construction Manager and Project Management team, you will assist with the day-to-day coordination of project activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
This role involves supporting project planning, contractor and supplier management, cost tracking, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, documentation control, and client communication. You will also help coordinate site activities, manage project records, monitor progress, and support project reporting and closeout activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting day-to-day project delivery and site operations
- Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and cost control
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams
- Managing project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Supporting health, safety, and quality compliance across the project
- Tracking project progress, budgets, and reporting requirements
- Assisting with procurement, permits, and contract administration
- Supporting workforce planning, onboarding, and craft labour management
