Position Summary
The Range Check In position is critical to maintaining efficient range operations while providing a friendly and inviting experience for all customers. The Range Check-In personnel assist customers with checking into the range, making decisions about rentals, ammo and other required supplies while always keeping the individual customer in mind. XCAL welcomes customers of all backgrounds and levels of experience. It is critical as part of the job at check-in that we always understand this while assisting them.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Interface and communicate in a professional, courteous, and compassionate manner with all customers.
- Demonstrating good communication and problem-solving skills under minimal supervision.
- The ability to proficiently communicate with all XCAL employees.
- Operate Point of Sale system to schedule and rent firearms to customers.
- Resupply range essentials as needed.
- Conduct Point of Sale Check-in & Release of Liability Waiver verifications.
- Perform and follow procedures for opening and closing.
- Actively promotes XCAL programs, products, and services.
Position Requirements
- Flexibility to work morning, evenings, weekends and non-standardized shift schedules.
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours.
- Lift, carry and transfer up to 45 pounds at any given time.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening.
Preferred Requirements
- Previous retail and/or member services experience helpful.
- Firearms handling experience.
Salary : $16 - $18
