Job Description
Customer Service Rep
Key Responsibilities May Include
- Must be able to work Monday thru Saturday 8am to 6pm and Saturday’s 11am to 3pm – shifts will vary from 8am to 1pm or 1pm to 6pm and Saturday 11am to 3pm
- Must be able to deal with high volume shipments from all courier
- Operate mailing and shipping & receiving
- Order supplies and update employee lists
- Pick-up and deliver mail, parcels, to customers
- Lift large bundles of mail, overnight packages and shipments
- Handle time-sensitive material like confidential, urgent packages
- Provide courier & messenger services
- Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
- Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
- Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines
- Take direction from supervisor or site manager
- participate in cross-training
- Maintain all logs and reporting documentation; attention to detail
- Adhere to all safety procedures
The ideal candidates must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred but not required
- Minimum of six months customer service related experience required
- Minimum of six months related experience preferred
- Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills preferred
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
- Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
- Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
- Lifting up to 55 pounds
- Standing for long periods of time
- Significant walking
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
