What are the responsibilities and job description for the O9 Technical consultant position at Xaxis Solutions?
Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the o9 platform. You’ll work closely with business teams, functional consultants, and developers to deliver planning and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and customize the o9 platform based on business requirements
Develop data models, workflows, and dashboards within o9
Perform data integration using APIs, SQL, and ETL tools
Work on demand planning, supply planning, and forecasting modules
Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize system performance
Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business needs into technical solutions
Conduct testing (unit, integration, UAT)
Support deployment and post-go-live activities
Required Skills
Technical Skills:
Strong SQL and database knowledge
Programming (Python / JavaScript preferred)
Experience with ETL tools and data integration
Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Knowledge of APIs and data pipelines
o9-Specific:
Experience in o9 modules (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, IBP)
Knowledge of o9 data models and configuration
Familiarity with Enterprise Knowledge Graph (EKG) is a plus
Functional Knowledge
Supply Chain Management (SCM) concepts
Demand forecasting & inventory optimization
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
2–6 years of relevant experience (varies by role level)
Experience in supply chain tools is a big advantage
